This is long overdue.

I’ve been wanting to start my own blog site and put a stop to my being in invisible mode. For over a year or so, I have been a silent observer in my network of friends - their blogs and e-mails. Then came this itch to "write" again.

My afternoons are never complete without me reading blogs. It’s my fourth and much-awaited item once I’ve sat in front of my pc (the first being my on-line correspondence with hubby, 2nd my friendster galore, and 3rd my yahoomail and google time). I have secretly divided this room between me and my 20-month old Toni. There is no demarcation line but hers is the right side where she can forever bounce and skip, dance and leap and watch Dora or Barney or her vocabulary builder dvd. The left side is all mine, where I sit and surf. Watching over Toni and enjoying my "me" time -  in just one room, at the same time– just divine.

Going back to blogs, I so enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy a good book. It keeps me posted of the events and developments in the lives of my relatives and friends and yes, even strangers who live interesting lives. A blog on a good cup of coffee or a kiddo’s birthday party or even just sentiments and travel tales keeps me good company. Nevermind if I skip snacks so long as I get to read here online and be as well filled up.
